Ponderings

Sabbath Saturday

Saturday.

The Sabbath Day. The day of the week to rest.

Though, after yesterday, nothing like that was happening in Jerusalem since Jesus is currently separated from His Father in the death we deserved and His disciples are living in grief, doubt, and fear over what has happened and what may come.

We’re fortunate to be on the other end of all this. We’re fortunate to able to rest at the feet of His scarred feet, because we know what tomorrow brings.

Thank you Jesus!

But today… He’s in Hell. Separated from God so we never have to experience that.

And today, there are no words. Only gratitude… oh, and the rest we don’t deserve.

  1. I’ve so loved this…every day you’ve reminded us to stop and take in the abounding love that our one and only true God, Lord of lords has for us! That he gave his one and only Son to die in order for each of us to have eternal life with Him💕🙏🙏
